Winter FGDM Statewide Virtual Meeting:
Back to Basics


The purpose of this webinar is to bring together both experienced and new FGDM practitioners to discuss some of the best practices and non-negotiables of the FGDM model that are key to implementing FGDM successfully. Participants will review some of the history and success of FGDM in Pennsylvania, FGDM basics, best practices, and non-negotiables, and how to implement and maintain FGDM practice so that it stays true to the model. Experienced and new practitioners will have the opportunity to collaborate and sharpen everyone’s skills to maximize use of the model for better outcomes for families.  

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this statewide event, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the history of FGDM in Pennsylvania. 
  • Recognize the core components of FGDM practice.
  • Identify FGDM best practices and non-negotiables. 
  • Discuss how using FGDM best practices and non-negotiables helps practitioners stay true to the FGDM model.
